Economy: Resources, Silver, Gold, and F-Coin

The four basic resources plus Silver (soft), Gold (premium / trade house), and F-Coin (the in-game alliance currency), and how the trade house works.

The Economy system is the engine behind every decision you make in Cinder & Crowns. It runs on four basic resources, three currencies, and a gold-based trade house that together fund building, troop training, technology, and your alliance.

Four basic resources

Wood, Stone, Food, and Iron fuel construction, troop training, and technology. You produce them at city facilities such as farms and lumber mills and at resource fields, and you gather them out on the sandbox map. Each resource has a storage cap, and your stockpiles can be plundered by enemies, so protecting what you produce is part of the game.

  • Food
  • Iron

Three currencies

Silver

Silver is the soft progression currency. You spend it to level your heroes and troops. You earn it through play, but it is kept deliberately scarce, so prioritizing who to upgrade matters.

Gold

Gold is the premium currency and the trade-house currency. It unlocks extra build queues and speeds up timers. Paying with gold buys convenience and speed, it does not buy a permanent power lead.

F-Coin

F-Coin is the alliance currency, earned and spent entirely inside the game. A share of members' resource gathering is taxed into the alliance treasury, and alliance leaders distribute F-Coin back to members. It exists only in-game.

The trade house

The trade house is a gold-based marketplace that charges a fee on transactions. Resource trading is live now, while equipment and material trading are planned.
