The Pioneer Test for Cinder & Crowns, a free-to-play mobile 4X strategy game (SLG), opened on 30 July 2026 at 11:00 UTC+8 and runs for approximately 35 days.
What the Pioneer Test is
It is a paid test with a data wipe. You can spend during the test, but all test-server progress is cleared when it ends and does not carry over to the official launch. We are stating this up front rather than at the end.
How to join
There is no key, no invite code, no waitlist, and no tester tiers. Anyone can take part.
- Android — download from the official Google Play listing. Use this link rather than searching the store — several unrelated titles share a similar name.
- iOS — a limited number of players are invited via TestFlight. Note that purchases are not possible on iOS during the test due to TestFlight restrictions.
- Reserve about 3 GB of free storage before installing.
- Join the official Discord for announcements and support.
Spending during the test
Purchases made during the Pioneer Test are returned as in-game gold after the official launch, under the published rebate rules. See the rebate rules announcement for the exact tiers, caps, and deadlines — the terms are stated there in full.

Bug reports go to the public board on Discord; account and payment issues go to the support bot by direct message.
