Adventure is the single-player PvE campaign in Cinder & Crowns — your solo road through 8 chapters, 8 stages apiece, for 64 stages in total. Clear stages, perfect your star ratings, and bank stars toward chapter reward chests.
How the Campaign Is Built
Adventure runs across 8 chapters of 8 stages each. Chapters unlock in sequence: beat the final stage of a chapter and the next one opens up. Every stage is a fight against a fixed monster group with its own level, so expect the pressure to climb the deeper you go.
Playing a Stage
- Each attempt costs stamina, and every stage has a limited number of daily attempts.
- Out of attempts? You can buy extra runs up to a daily cap.
- Bring the right lineup: your composition is set by Three Troops (Infantry, Archer, Cavalry), heroes scale up through Hero Ascension, and Bonds add synergy to push deeper stages.
Three-Star Clears
Every stage has a 3-star rating. The more stars you earn, the better the completion reward.
- Star 1: Win the battle.
- Star 2: Finish with no hero deaths — keep the whole team alive.
- Star 3: Finish with the team's total remaining HP above 60%.
Rewards and Star Milestones
Your first clear of a stage grants a guaranteed first-clear reward; replaying it later yields repeatable random rewards. Stars also stack up within a chapter — with 8 stages times 3 stars, each chapter offers 24 stars. Collect enough and you trigger milestone chests partway through the chapter and at full clear, each handing out extra chapter reward chests.
