Seasons structure the long-term play of Cinder & Crowns. Each season is a self-contained campaign on the sandbox map — a fresh race for alliances to converge inward and claim the Golden Capital.
Season 0 — the tutorial season
Season 0 (S0) is a single-province new-player season (the "Sanctuary Wasteland"), set on the Atlantean home scene. It teaches the core loop on a smaller, gentler map before the full ring world opens.
Season 1 and beyond
From Season 1 (S1) onward the full ring map opens: 6 birth states → 3 resource states → 1 Crown Land, the single endgame province that holds the crown. A normal season runs roughly a month.
Levels across seasons
- Lord level (your account level) carries across seasons, unlocking in stages up to a cap of 50.
- Keep level is independent, caps at 25, and resets each season.
The shifting map, contested passes, and the central Crown Land make every season a clean restart where alliances race to claim the Golden Capital.
